Boy, has this been in the works for a long time. If you don't know me, I don't do a bunch of sketches and then slap them onto a single file. What I do is I open a large canvas and specifically fill it with small drawings/concepts/etc. None of these could even be called 'sketches' at this point, lol. But that's just how I operate.
I'll try to be brief, but I've been really wanting to talk about some of these characters so bear with me.
First we have a doodle of a demon cat eating a ghost....or something. It's an idea for later.
Then the medallion things are the symbols of the five deities in my story universe. More on them some other time.
Then we have the cluster of oc portraits. They're all from the same dystopian bandit tribe called the Hounds from one of my stories. *clears throat* From left to right, top to bottom:
Ango- A low-ranking lovable idiot. Klutzy and gets hurt a lot. Can't read. Is very sweet and friendly.
Shiv- Also low-ranking, but a bit more shy and less of an idiot. Wants to be the tribe's medic someday.
Blue Tommy- May be clinically deranged. Never talks. Incredibly fierce and loyal. Good at tracking and sneaking.
Danthony- Possibly the youngest, a snarky little pest. Takes care of the tribe dogs since his parents were vets. Has a garden trowel where his left hand should be. Calls the chief "dad" behind his back.
Renzi- The smart, tired big brother of the group. Also the second-in-command. Worries too much.
Brandon- He's the super crotchety, sarcastic doctor. (Some of you might remember him from an earlier sketchdump.) Is way older than everyone except the chief. Has a deadly dark sense of humor and doesn't let anyone forget how screwed they'd be without him.
Muddybones- I write his name differently every time I mention him lol. He's the flashy, hotheaded jerk that's always picking fights and trying to gain the chief's respect. Fails every time. Him, Shiv, and Ango are the unholy trinity of the tribe basically.
Boar-back- Last but not least, the chief. He's my favorite XD His face is horribly scarred but nobody knows how it happened. He likes gold jewelry and is very self-confident despite his scars. A weathered veteran of many battles who stays on top through a combination of experience, charisma, intimidation, and maybe a tiiiiny bit of kindness sometimes. Is excellent at telling stories and delivering threats. Never, ever loses his temper. Has won the undying loyalty of his entire tribe.
And I love them all so much >w<

After that we have a bunch of flower drawings which I'm very happy with. They were pretty much just for fun.
Then there's a little drawing of a person walking at twilight--again, just for fun.
The grey and yellow art was honestly just to fill space, but I like how it turned out.
And the last drawing is a traditional sketch I scanned and colored. Just a random chaos beast, nothing to see here XD
Aaaand that's all! I will hopefully be doing more bandit-related art in the near future, so I'll be able to share more of their story then. Hope everyone is having a nice day!
