I haven't done a coloured pencil piece for ages, and the original of this picture was so vibrant and rosy looking that I decided to do a coloured piece rather than the usual graphite. This was done with my Crayola pencils, although I ordered some Prismacolours today! (Anyone else in the UK find them hard to get hold of?!) There are a couple of WIPs of this in my scraps - [link] I really hope you like it, and would love to know what you think!
Edit: I cropped out the white surround as suggested by ~LMRourke , I was in two minds about it anyway

She looks great in colour! Gives her skin a nice glow, and a different lease of life. Normally artists are better at either graphite or colour pencil (in my experience) but you're great at both. Good job!

Thanks! The colours in this one were so bright and vivid in the source picture that I knew it was a good one to do in colour.

The hair looks amazing!!! Looks just like her... I could tell who it was from the preview. The eyes really keep you looking at the picture becasue they are so well drawn. Very nice

Wow. It looks just like her. Amazing artwork. I question your choice of model, but that's neither here nor there. You have mad skills with colored pencil and I bow to them. The highlights and shading are exceptional.

Yeah I know Britney's not everyone's cup of tea but I think she can be really pretty and the original photo this pic was done from was so colourful and pretty I just had to draw it. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

its not often you look at the whole gallery and can pick each face out as someone famous. they are such great likenesses!
i also think its really hard to draw a face and have in really resemble who it is, and look beautiful, and you've really achieved it here. the whole pose is so britney. the hair is my favourite part, its just so shiny and textural with the tone you worked in with the colour. also the eyes are spot on.

I have never seen someone work as well with Crayolas as you do---the thought of what you'll do with the prismas makes me want to run and hide and delete all my stuff!
