Range of mountain peaks~I'm still inspired by the beautiful scenery I enjoyed this week-end in the Alps <3
Oh my~ It was a long time since I last tried to draw such a complicated drawing with full background O_o It is very hard to draw
Giving depth to the drawing is especially difficult. Notably when the character is wearing blackish-greyish colours...
I love the result. My beloved Thranduil in the wilderness, riding his beloved elk~
//I used screenshots from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies as reference for Thranduil and his elk, and a picture I took as reference for the background

Love this. Thranduil and his battle elk. And I really like the background (for me it is the most difficult part of every drawing)

I'm glad you do ^^ That background took an insane amount of time to draw. Since then I've learned a thing or two about drawing depth so that my drawings do not look so flat any longer. I still love that one though ^^

Yes, that was a long one <3 <3 I had so much that gorgeous mountain scenery in my eyes that I had to draw it. And it suits my beloved THranduil so much ^^ Even if I can see now what's wrong with the background (lack of depth, I'm practising about that), I still love it ^^

I've read a lot since that about giving depth to a background, with colours turning blueish as the distance increases. I'll make some attempts soon ^^
And finally I had motivation to work on my tablet today ^^ (now that I see what you are now able to draw after... less than one year of practise?!!!) So I made a digital Thranduil XD It took hours (especially when I realised that his face was totally wrong and I had to re-draw most of it
