Anyways, I watched Beetlejuice for Halloween, so had to draw something after finishing. Yesterday, Halloween, was the day I finally graduated from high school, and said goodbye to the safehaven of organized secondary schooling. So, obviously, that being a huge checkpoint in life, I was in a nostalgic mood. I remembered that the last time I watched Beetlejuice was thirteen years ago, while I was on a trip to Puerto Rico. I found the movie delightful as a child, and watched it multiple times over in the hotel room.
I don't know why that part of the trip was so significant that I remember it clearly to this day, but... here we are. And while I was watching, I came to realize... my first time watching the film Beetlejuice was during the very same trip that I made the decision that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I'd fallen in love with a mistreated pack of strays with gorgeous personalities. Now, thirteen years later, aged eighteen, I am enrolled in a veterinary pre-selection course for 2019, and with luck and hard work, will be accepted into the full five-year course in a matter of roughly six months. How's that for achieving a lifetime goal?
