THEME: Dream of Shaping a New Virtual World

For the contest~!

This is my second entry!!!

Making a world from scratch can be hard and does require some imagination--even if it is a digital world. But in that sense, the whole world is her canvas and her dreams will transform into a new reality (a virtual reality that is ^_~). Working with a blank canvas, who knows where her imagination will take her...

This is a dream literally manifested before your very eyes--each part of it materializing within seconds.

The mind is a powerful thing and with the help of technology, used for good, the possibilities are endless.

This is a future of dreams and no matter how far we go with technology or how advanced our culture and world becomes, imagination will never die and inspiration will always be fueled. It'll just be expressed differently. But creativity is creativity. This is why the world will never be dull. There will always be dreamers to bring something new to the table taking advantage of opportunities.

A blank canvas is this digital world--her opportunity to make her mark and share her dreams in a way no one has done before.

What kind of world will she create? It all starts with a few trees, but who knows all the plans she has in store for this new virtual world?

EDIT 8/6/2014--> The deadline was extended so i thought...why not make this entry better? Even tho i liked how the last one came out, i knew i could do better. So i'm thankful to God that i got to try this again <33 END EDIT

Instead of taking a fantasy route, I was brought on by a sudden inspiration to draw something digital related.
I'll bet that a lot of people have seen cartoons or anime (or movies in general) such as Sword Art Online, Digimon, .Hack//Sign, The Matrix, Tron, and Code Lyoko, right? Each one of them has an interpretation of what a virtual world is like. Considering virtual worlds, which are still a mystery to us, consist of mainly data--codes can supposedly create pretty much anything. So what i thought to do was combine a virtual reality setting with the dream world.
In our dreams, we have the ability to make anything happen. So we can look at our brain waves as codes and make those codes construct or deconstruct according to our will whether we're aware of it or not.
So in my pic is a girl (probably from the future) who put on some type of head gear that has the ability to access her brain and create a virtual reality from her dream...ya know, something like her consciousness going into a computer and creating a virtual reality sort of thing. In said dream/virtual reality, her appearance changes slightly to match the venue. And using the programming, you see her creating some type of forest. In her hands is a...um...mini projection of her imagination and she uses that, where she's imagining a tree, to construct said forest. Also notice that the "real world" is sort of grey-ish and has low saturation while the virtual world is much more vibrant X3
Perhaps in the future, we really will be able to take part in virtual realities and legitimately take part in them--which in itself is another dream of sorts X3 (i'm sure its someone's dream. COME ON--I know you've thought about it at least once or twice of the possibilities. I know I have X3)
