Your request for a "Serious, analytical critique of your artwork."
I have little to no knowledge of fractal artwork, so my comments are going to be very broad, and based more on a digital art image.
All your works are very good as images, and it is surprising to me that you do not have more recognition. This may be that the fractal artwork catalogue is very flooded, and as such your work does fall more into the more generic field.
What you may try for in future is to create your fractals into forms or shapes. Their are two ways for this:
1. Create your image, as you have done, and in an image editing application like photoshop duplicate, flip and apply a layer effect for the layers to blend. Play around to form images of faces or objects.
2. In your rendering of the image, apply a mask so that the rendering forms in the shape of an object.
There are to may elements, and as such the depth that should be felt is totally lost, and there is no focus point for the same reason.
Simplify this by only using a potion of this image, or invert the entire image and re-colour.
You may want to re-render adding glowing swish's / lines of light, look at your deviation "Copper Chain" as an example
