His name as shown in the title is Vitus, a very large dragon with an even larger heart.

Despite his size, he's very friendly and somehow stumbled into the Death Match arena by mistake and chance. He's rather silly and not very smart, and his size makes him clumsy, but in truth he doesn't know his own strength. Perhaps this will help him survive through the challenges the tournament will give him.

His bright-orange face marking boast that he's a pretty high-ranking dragon in whatever dragon pack he used to be in, but the slightly dull blue markings on his back show that his ancestry was definitely not of the royal bloodline. (The lower ranked you are, the more faded and dull your coloring is. Eventually, the lowest end up with browns and grays, not enough to attract good mates.)

He was probably born in a cold climate due to the small fur tufts and feathering, but that is still unknown.
