Description
As a kid Ren had an abusive father who was frequently drunk and used to beat him and his mother. He discovered his quirk at age 6 in a tragic way: In trying to defend his mother from abuse, he turned his father's arm into a grotesque mass. After a few days in the hospital, his father asked for divorce and his mother started to be afraid of the boy. Someday when he returned from school Ren found his house empty and without any sign of his mother. Many days passed over and he lost all hope of her return. He then moved into his grandmother's house and became more and more inmate. He was too afraid to hurt other people with his power until he saw heroes with highly destructive powers saving people. So he decided that he would learn to use his ability to help people and enroll in the UA. It was common to see him reading chemistry books almost every day. After becoming a pro hero he swore he would never use his quirk directly on people again.If he tries to use his quirk not knowing the materials or reactions he is working with, the results would be uncertain.
