After reading some comments here, I think I have a few words to say; some are obviously finding this offensive. I do understand why, especially when people defending this deviation are using the "it's true, obese people are at life-risk all the time and they should lose weight, this is only a joke but it tells the truth". Okay, maybe. I mean, of course, the thing about life-risk and everything is true and it would be better for their health to lose weight, but you know what? However concerned you are about obese people and their lives, poking them with this "joke" is not helping. Insulting them and telling them to run a few laps instead of sitting here in the internet is not helpful at all. You're just crushing their self-esteems more and that's not going to help them love their own lives or bodies, so that they would get concerned about their own health and start losing weight.
Be understanding a bit more. Don't poke or push, be nice and give people courage instead of this crap.
Well anyway, about the joke - I don't particularly find this offensive, although I don't think it's a very funny one either. Also, I'm a bit more concerned that this kind of "art" is allowed in Deviantart, not because it offends some people, but because everything in this is stolen and done badly. I could do this level of "art" in five minutes with Photoshop. If you want to do typography, do it well, instead of just copy-pasting other people's stuff on a black background with some lorem ipsum thrown on it. I feel sad that an artist, who clearly is a good photographer, wastes his time in stuff like this.

actually, your statement is incorrect. So, as we all know, people are meant to be different. Just like some people have blue eyes and some have brown eyes, some people are meant to be fat, and some are meant to be thin. When i say people who are "meant to be fat", i mean the fat people who eat right and exercise. In today's society, everyone is expected to be thin, even if you are naturally fat. When a naturally fat person looses weight, they are risking their health. The sad part is that they are risking their health like this in order to fit in and not be discriminated against. I don't know about you, but that is very sad and unfair. (it's mainly because we all assume that being fat makes someone less healthy, when they are at the weight where they are actually their healthiest)

I can understand your concern, but this truly is in good humour. The artist clearly didn't intend for this to offend people, and I know for a fact there are far meaner things people can say. True, people can, and will be offended by this, but most things can offend people. I say that so long as the artist isn't trying to offend people, let them continue posting these quotes. As long as someone enjoys it, this quote should stay up, offensive or not.

Well, even more than the offensive part, I'm concerned why is still so popular and appreciated, even though the artist doesn't really own anything in this. And it's boring. But, what do I know, maybe in a couple hundred years, stuff like this will be appreciated as much as we appreciate artists like Da Vinci right now. Who knows.
