Description
I've always wanted to paint a ranger with a bow and play with a forest-like background and lighting. So here it is, and I actually like the outcome a lot. Hope you do, too

I really love the bits of light coming through on her skin from the sun between the leaves, it creates so much depth and like imagination as to what is around her, the colors are so pretty, and they fit so well, love how you did her bow too, and her lips and eyes!

I absolutely love the elvish features you gave her, that paired with the green and orang-ish lighting really helps with the rover aspect of her characters (also reminds me of a forest nymph!). Plus the lighting alone is one of my favorites aspects here, I don't even know how you accomplished it but it really gives the impression of soft sunlight creeping through the forest branches around her. An all around gorgeous portrait

Rossi is right about those colors - I admire how well you control these green and yellow colors in the atmosphere and on her skin and clothes. The bow and the ear are way too cool, and i like that light scattering in her ear, too!

Hmm something feels like you've been practicing with something....Anyway, lovely as always. I especially like the design on the bow. Any inspirations? I know this is weird to say, but it feels like her eyes are trying to tell a story. Unfortunately, I don't know what it is

I haven’t really had time to practice a lot, but I guess I’m slowly figuring out in which direction I’d like to go style-wise.. don’t know, maybe my next piece will be crap again
but thanks a lot! For the bow I just looked up pictures of random bows and let me inspire to create this one.. I was trying to implement subtle decorations, so not overdoing it but also making it look a bit more special that a usual bow.
And you’re right about the eyes.. she seems a bit sad to me. Like she misses or just lost someone close to her.
