Description
Shang Chi must battle the weapon master, Zaran, to save his love, Leiko Wu, from the diabolical schemes of his mysterious sister, Fah Lo Suee.Characters belong to Marvel comics.
Master of Kung Fu has to be one of Marvel's most underappreciated series.

Edit: It's been pointed out to me that it appears Shang has a giant spider in his pants. Now that's all I can see.

Shang-Chi is an underrated character. I didn't even know about him until I read Jonathan Hickman's Avengers and saw how awesome he was.

Hi. I did some new Shang Chi stuff because the movie got me hyped:
It's interesting that you know him from the Hickman run. I'm all about the 70s-80s run by Moench with Gulacy, Zeck, and Gene Day. Awesome spy/action stories with basically Bruce Lee as James Bond, but with insanely good art. Hoping that's where the movie pulls from, but I just got the Hickman run and I'm checking out the modern take.

Yes Shang was always 1 of my favs as a kid. better than Iron IMO. movie material 100%
but i worry that they'd mess it up.

Didn't Iron Fist's poor reception partially stem from ignorant people who didn't know about the character.

I knew about Iron Fist, From his 1st Promo images in back of other comics.
And didn't like the netflix version becasue in general the way they handled mostly everything was kinda crappy.
people didn't really know Daredevil but BOOM, it was great.
Iron Fist could have been really good, if not great.
but IMO they dropped the ball at nearly every point.
