Like the related Forget-me-not, Omphalodes nitida is a plant that tends to seed freely in the garden. It is native to Portugal, so it needs warmer places to grow than Forget-me-not. If the garden is suitable, however, it will appear here and there whereever it likes to appear - but almost never at the place where the gardener originally planted it. You may ban this little rascal from your garden, therefore - or learn to accept its behavior, and love its beautiful blue flowers!
