Description Penstemon nitidus, a species consisting of two subspecies, is native to the Rocky mountains, especially to the Canadian provinces Alberta, Sasketchwan and British Columbia but also to the adjacent states of the US. The plant, commonly called Waxleaf Penstemon, or Smooth Blue Beard-Tongue, is not easy to cultivate in the garden, and needs a well-drained, sunny spot in granite gravel. The azure blue colors, however, are uniquely beautiful! Β

Ja, sie wachsen hier im Garten. Es gibt hier zwar auch Rosen und PÀonien, aber ebenso manche RaritÀt. Es macht eben Spaß, so etwas zu pflegen, auch wenn diese Pflanzen manchmal etwas schwieriger sind.

Well you're completely right - I should have realized the droplets earlier ... When I chose the photo I put my attention on things such as if the focus is set in the right way and if the flower color comes close to the real one. Sometimes I can no longer see the wood for the trees - I'm becoming old ... Β
