Description Here's a hypothetical division of Transylvania, possibly due to either an alternative outcome of the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867, or of the post-WW1 breakup. This map depicts an Austrian-ruled western part (Siebenbürgen), and the eastern part (Szekelerland) as a separate Hungarian crown land. The borders are based on a Romanian map dated 1915.

Realy cool. I like the history from the Siebenbürgen Sachsen and all the germans in the oreign countries. Does you know the Wolgadeutsche Republik in the udssr (Volgograd republic)?

Yep, have been reading up about it quite recently even. The spread of the German peoples was quite impressive (well, until WW2 at least).

Great map! Would´ve been a great solution after the world war, to simply make it independant.
