Thanks for your feedback, it's not obnoxious at all

1. The territories received by the Netherlands were partly an incentive, and for Prussia to gain a useful ally in their eternal struggle for primacy against Austria. The Dutch borders from c. 1830 were the starting point. I agree that a case could have been made for those parts of the former Duchy of Limbourg and the former Luxemburgish territories around Bitburg. However I felt that East Frisia, Bentheim and Lingen (looking back I also could've added parts of the Kleverland, but the damage is done now) were more natural fits from a cultural and linguistic point of view. I took the liberty to include the Jeverland (Oldenburg-govened East Frisia) because Hannover doesn't really exist as an entity here, so Oldenburg could be compensated with the Emsland. Also, the Netherlands would play a leading part in the Imperial North Sea navy, so getting them additional coastline also makes sense from that point of view.

2. Enscheid and Haag are both valid German exonyms for the respective cities.

3. I'm very familiar with the borders there. However the area looks as it is because it also includes territory around Lingen, which has also had long-standing cultural, linguistic and historic ties with the Netherlands.

Good to know that Neum had been annexed by the Croats (even though it is unencircled territory by the Germans). Also, is Geneva not Swiss?

And oh, I've never consciously concerned myself with the fate of Neum, so it might have been a simple mapping mistake. But now that the damage is done let's just assume the Austrians captured it from the Ottomans somewhere during the late 1870s or 1880s. Austria didn't get to play in Bosnia as in OTL - as their ambitions in the Balkans were not seen as a matter of Imperial interest - but taking Neum would probably not be a big deal, even if only to create territorial contiguity.

Geneva was the last French stronghold in the war of 1896/97 (see post #5) and as such it was ceded to France, while the rest of Switzerland joined the German Empire.
