full colour drawing with pencel crayons.This is a version that i did because i couldn't deside on what colours to do everything so i just winged it and well this is what i ended up with, about half way through i almost gave up on it i thought it looked so bad but it ended up ok.

I love how the leaves are black and red, and not your traditionnal green.
I also love how the rose is blue and red, it's awesome! I also really love the ribbons. Even how they've been lightened and darken in some places.

Ah, i see what you mean. Personally, i've never really liked my own art all that much. I've had some i loved and everyone else hated, and some that i hated and everyone else loved. This is probably one of those pictures for you =[

Oh nice! I love how you made the actual rose with blue lines instead of red. It really makes it stand out in an almost subtle way.
And I totally understand when you say 'winged it'. You always think it'll look like crap, so you kind of start fiddling with it because you can afford to mess around, and then it ends up good. Lately I've been doing that a lot. It's mildly annoying.

Yeah, it's always good to test all sorts of colours. It rarely ends up being spot on on the first try.
