... be with you, always. And inspiration too.My little tribute for the Star Wars 4th May day. I'm fan of SW since childhood^^
Me and SiberianSaago made two Flame gowns from Episode I (Padme Amidala's handmaidens), close to the original as much as we could.
It's hand dyed velvet (I tought, I would die before I will color it from white to dark orange! It was white, fully white. And no, I didn't use airbrush (: I even got an allergy to acrylics!!!), we even did an embroidery on a sleeve. The second red hood is also there, but the first one hood cover it on a picture. I'm really proud of this costume, it looks like an original one (:
P.S. In the day of Con I usually looks like a zombi, so I photoshoped myself a little,because I don't want to scare anyone. Be strong and don't sleep at night before the Con, sew everything, that is not ready

What was it like? Like what were the things that made it difficult? Did the colour stick to the fabric? Just wondering cause I want to experiment making some clothing myself and want to know what other people did and all before I try c':

I used acrylics for silk, it stick to a fabric well, but after washing powder color will be much more brighter. But with a mere soap light dirty can be moved without changing colors.
