The night of thousand stars... Mysterious secrets are hiding in darkness..The raven painting on a raven feather^^

Painted by acrylics and tempera paints on the feather of a raven.
Feather size 21x4 cm
Big thanks to the Help Center for the birds of prey and owls in Novgorod. They gave me this beautiful feather^^
I was waiting so long for this bird will moult <3

Wow, that is skill to paint upon a feather. Feels like a story of the great Native American trickster is about to begin. In Native American culture the Raven is one of a slew of tricksters.

This piece is beautiful.
The details on the raven are truly amazing. You're very good with using paints, I must say. The way you use tones and mix colours works out very well, and I still can't get my head around how much skill it must take to be able to paint something such as this on a feather.
The background is beautiful too. I love nigh skies in pictures/paintings, and you've painted a night sky very well!
The stars are lovely, and the mix of different colours really give it that pure, dusky effect.
I also like the shadowed objects in the background, it adds that little bit extra to the painting just to give it that finishing touch.
I enjoy looking at your paintings and I'll look forward to seeing more.
