um yeah, kaboom, lotsa things going bang here. Anyway some image info.- Learned new nebula tricks for ps6 (Working around the lack of linear dodge and textured brushes), utilised them here so hopefully should be a little better at least.
- Captured the exact time of collision for the planets rather than have them exploding everywhere which would require me to learn more c4d... damnit.
- Dragon courtesy of - the lineart is all his, i merely coloured in and blended, check his latest deviation to see the dragon in lineart form.
- Improved comets with textured set pieces in the middle.
- Stars should be a lot more controlled mostly occuring around the nebulas rather than EVERYWHERE!.
- Darkened terragen scenery for easier transition, sorted out texturising issues.

Great pictue, good job with the particles and the stars, it gives me a real good space dust type feeling. Although im not sure about the dragon and its significance, it seems kind of out of place, as its not the first thing you think of when you see planets crashing (like it happens all the time). Also good idea puttin in the terrain, it mxes the two worlds of sace and earth. Good stuff.

im definatly feelin this.i would say a little less sky would bring out the dragon a little more. but the night sky is just so beautiful i wouldent change a thing. nice job!

What proggy do you use to render the stars etx. I know you use Terragen for the landscape (BTW: I downloaded your presets. They're cool, but the snow.tgw file isn't working o_0?), but how do you do the planets/stars?

the entire space scene is composed of photoshop and a little cinema 4d. The 3d modelling program cinema4d is used for the planets and textures of them, and photoshop is used for the stars, the nebulas, the extra lights, comets etc...

Preeetty, the dragon is a bit dark though and kind of hard to see, maybe try dodging it with Photo shop or what not, it fades into the background a little to easily. Otherwise, i also like the two moons/planets on the upper right side alot. Very nice.
