I shouldn't look at my old art because it makes me feel like redoing all of them.

Here’s my favorite balrog slayer visiting his cairn in the Third Age.

There are two versions of the fate of Glorfindel’s grave. In both, it is grown over with yellow flowers. In one it is destroyed when the world is changed; in the other, it could have survived, and that’s the one I go with.

“Tuor let raise a great stone-cairn over Glorfindel just there beyond the perilous way by the precipice of Eagle-stream, and Thorondor has let not yet any harm come thereto, but yellow flowers have fared thither and blow ever now about that mound in those unkindly places” (Fall of Gondolin)
