I used to be like the #1 Mareach shipper and now it bores me. Weirdly enough, I wouldn’t be mad if they made it canon, but at the same time... It seems evident that Peach doesn’t care for Mario at all. Especially after Odyssey. If anything, Pauline does. She threw him a whole festival and dedicated two songs to him. Peach never put him on that pedestal of gratitude, and she was saved a lot more. Mario deserves more love than that. She could at least appreciate him. She literally almost left him with Bowser on the moon.

Tbh, it would bother me if Nintendo decides to announce them "bf/gf", like they did with him and Pauline. That's why I also kinda fear that upcoming animated Mario movie, what should the plot be? The typical kidnapping? Mario doesn't even talk in his games most of the time, how will they handle it in the movie?

Mario Odyssey's ending sure caused a lot of controversy, I mean it even looked like Peach would seriously consider Bowser there for a moment lmao

I’ve been thinking about the movie a lot. I’m praying Illumination doesn’t change how the characters look. I don’t want them ruining my favorite fandom or my favorite character. 

It actually seemed like Mario was about to propose to Peach. Just give her up already! She’s probably gay! He can get anyone he wants. Pauline even seems into him at this point.

I think Illumination would get their asses kicked if they changed the look of the characters only slightly; I mean Nintendo was super strict when it came to Bowser's cameo in Wreck-It Ralph, they had everything perfectly scripted for these few seconds. But what could Illumination screw up anyways (besides that)?

Thank Bowser that that proposal never happened. But for real, Mario has, like, 20 admirers, from different species and both genders, swooning over him xD

And plus Nintendo is helping them make it. True, Disney could’ve stylized Bowser for that movie and they didn’t.
