Commision for :iconsummerwoldspirit: Not too much to say on this. I did it at university one day. I had the whole day free, so I went in with my paint and ink and salt and every other thing that I could thing of.This is now my third attempt at scanning it. First two times, after about and hour and a half of scanning, we had blackouts. Twice, in two days. And now there's a storm approaching so I'm trying to get this up quickly!

All the paint I /can/ find are acrylics and the stupid paint they use at my school.
Sure some toystores have kinda watercolour paint but but but jaifmkenjgf idk

Do you, like, use a pen or sharpy or something to make those lines around the character? I can't imagine having to use a brush, even a very thin one

I wanted to buy a quill in Italy, so I saved all my money 'till Milano, since that was the last city we were going to, and then they didn't have any quills :C
So I'm most probably gonna buy one on eBay or something, idk yet. Idk any stores that sell them either.
Do you dip it in ink or paint?
Idk if using paint is safe, so I'm just asking before I do that xD

These are the kind of pen that I use though [link] although mine is nothing near as fancy as most of those XD
Ink so far. I've tried using acrylic ink and that refuses to come off the pen, so i avoid using it with the pen. I havn't yet tried paint, although I suppose if you made it watery enough it could work in theory

Haha that's why I usually wear old or cheap clothes XD My degree at university is art, so I've learned that my clothes are going to get dirty no matter what I try XD

I dipped it in ink in frustration, so that would be a no xD
I do however, still have a...well, we call it a vulpen, but it's just like a nib pen ( [link] ) So yeah, I think I'll try something with that.

Well I could dress in old clothes, but most of my clothes are T-shirts, and then I still manage to get paint on my arms xD So messy OTL

No, I was on a scanning spree. Scanning in unscanned artworks, sketches, gift dumps, compositional sketches for commissions.. all sorts of things.

make friends with a med student, get them to come up with a really fancy sounding disease, go complain to the kitchen staff that you have said disease and therefore need to apply large quantities of the salt to your food by yourself. In your room. Salt crisis solved.
Neither do I D: I went to go lunge a horse with my dogs. And then went and shot up monsters on devil may cry 3. The combination seems to have worked reasonably well.
