Description For Deanna and her husband!
Practicing cell-shading. Those are their characters in Final Fantasy XIV. She wanted the focus on him.
This was a commission that ended up being a gift, because they are always patient and kind with me.
The game sword shape kills me, been struggling with it but still looks off to me. C&C appreciated. I hope you like!

Eres muy amable! La verdad es que estaba practicando y le dedique bastante tiempo a entender la luz y la sombra, y seguro que aun asi debe tener algun error. Te lo agradezco mucho!

I still hate how the crown looks though. Not your fault, I just find it looks so silly, especially in-game.

Trying to sort out my life. I can't even remember the last time I doodled, I used to be a pretty good artist when I was a kid and I kinda just let it slip.

I'm in the middle of a really rough time that's only going to get worse :/

Hehe, I know what you mean on that sword shape. I tried to draw it myself on a little chibi Mir I made and I fiddled with it so many times to make it look right and it still seems off to me. >.<

I think the thing that's throwing you off about the sword is that the blade itself is actually a much more potent blue than what is seen here(though I understand what you were going for as you can still see the blue if you look closely).Β  Nevertheless it's still a great image and the focus is absolutely on him while not completely eliminating her. ^^Β  You're always so very impressive with your works and the lighting here is just great.Β  I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out what's going on with the background exactly.Β  I understand it's blurred so the viewer focuses on them but I mainly trying to figure out what it is. XD

The background, since I don't have much experience at XIV, I cannot name the place, but if I remember well it's from a boss battle! it had some yellowish crystals all arround >o<

It's not a Mithra, it's a Miqo'te.Β  This is an FFXIV pic and they're in playable in the game.Β  Just thought you should know.

I know this... and I've explained this before. I'm really not a fan of the new names they have given what are essentially the same races in FFXIV (yes I know there are minor differences, but let's be honest here, they're mostly the same). To me, they will always be mithra/galka/tarus, Miqo'te is annoying for me to figure out the proper pronounciation, Roegadan or whatever just sounds awkward, and Lalafell just sound silly to me. FFXI or FFXIV, they will always be mithra/galka/taru. But thank you for your correction.
