The Colony world of Thedus (Aliens, mentioned only and never seen) was a planet rich in minerals mined extensively by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. It was on its return from Thedus that the Weyland-Yutani commercial hauler USCSS Nostromo discovered the derelict ship on LV-426. Unfortunately the planet came under attack by a Cybertronian raiding party in 2183, bearing the marks of the infamous Decepticons. The UNSC responded with all it could, despite being stretched thin by recent conflicts. By now the Geth had died down and retreated back beyond the veil after the attack on the Citadel, but the Covenant was pressing on and most of the UNSC's assets were on Reach. Still they responded with everything they had, and Titans were deployed and engaged with a 39% success rate; of the remaining 61% only 34% had the pilots escape with there lives to redeploy with another Titan, the rest died either inside there Titans or were killed whilst ejecting. Titan Pilots had a 18% success rate of engaging Cybertronians without their Titans, and even then most of the time had help with the enemy being engaged in teams. The enemy was also met well enough with artillery, air strikes and heavy armour, but the outcome of the fight remains to be seen. This battle is significant in the Amalgamation history as it's the first time citizens of Cybertron have attacked a human colony.

---

The conflict is reaching it's conclusion. An N7 soldier, Titan Pilot and ODST bunker down together in a joint effort to stay alive as two goliaths clash over there heads, they have some assistance from Weyland Security and the colonial police force in the form of the ED 209 seen in the render unit being apart of the local police.

In the end of the conflict on Thedus the Cybertronians were repelled but at a tremendous cost, damaged sustained to the colony is catastrophic. The UNSC is even considering abandoning it before the Covenant eventually shows up to take it.

I feel like if they kill a cybertroion they should use its body to make a new titan

That is a good idea... at the very least, study it for for it's technological and even biological uses.

They are bio-machines after all.

Or strip off all the metal and melt it for new titans

Cybertronian metal is different from other alloys as far as I know, it could have other applications, I'd have to research it but you've given me a great idea to play around with!

Well if you can't melt it down do what the udam did in far cry primal and strap the metal parts as armor on the titans

Amalgamation100 In reply to RagnorokIrons [2017-01-15 06:01:36 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure if it can't be melted down or not, all I'm saying is that I need to do some research into Cybertronian alloys before I know what it can be used for, it could be used to make titans and other stuff as well

I can bet I know what Decepticon propaganda will say about Titans using Cybertronian armour

"They where the skin of their enemies"

I am actually surprised to see such a high success rate with the Titans as personally I thought it would be closer to 45% effectiveness, as Cybertronians are faster with quicker reflexes and typically bigger guns, and have the seed advantage with their alt forms, although the number of pilots surviving is rather high. However I would excuse this considering humanity encountered a damage vessel, but I am certain this would lead to a false sense of confidence against the cybertronians. Personally though I think the infantry casualties are actually pretty accurate, and maybe should be higher as they are smaller and harder to hit ^^

Also you seriously need another Corporation that runs colonies: how about Exo-Geni?

Still the picture looks bad ass!!!!!

Also I figured Cybertronians would be better at targeting the pilots as they ejected and would grab them and rip em apart even as they fly out, also they could even intercept with there alt forms

Titans in this universe were built to take on Cybertronians though, it's there entire purpose. Plus humanity has better tech here, as they have the best of all the different universes combined.

I would personally like to say that while I do think grabbing and ripping pilots are cool, I personally feel more pilots would be blown up in their titans. Yes you can argue that they have an escape feature but I feel that's more of a game feature so malfunctions and the suits getting one shot by a powerful gun can still happen. Like say if a round directly penetrates the cockpit there will be no time for a escape pod

Amalgamation100 In reply to The-PBG [2017-01-15 05:44:47 +0000 UTC]

That does happen in game too, that's why only a certain percent make it out

only 34% managed to eject out AND escape with their lives to redeploy, the rest would of been either ripped out like in the titanfall games, shot mid-trajectory or killed inside the titan like you said, which happens in the games too.

I'll take what you've said on and review the numbers tomorrow though, and add in that extra info

Ah I see: I would bump up casualty rates, but then again I assume the Decepticons suffered a near 95% casualty rate if not 100% due to their malfunctioning ship not being able to evacuate them from the battlefield.

Amalgamation100 In reply to The-PBG [2017-01-19 10:34:16 +0000 UTC]

I never stated the casualty rate but this isn't supposed to to be the Nemesis it's just a Decepticon Warship, a small frigate at that.

Nearing the end of my playthrough on ME1 I actually had the same thought man! Lol!

There are plenty of organisations though, they just all haven't been revealed yet.

And um, humanity did not encounter a damaged vessel, that's not the Nemesis it's just a regular Decepticon Frigate (which is bigger than all those Halcyon Class Light Cruisers!) I figured it fucked up UNSC ships pretty badly though

Have you ever played Titanfall though? When you compare the gameplay of both Titanfall and WFC there isn't much difference at all. Titans are quite fast and carry some tremendous firepower, they also have there own shields and thus can take a massive beating.
