After Lliane and Shoren, of course it's Eli, queen of Cérès, kingdom of nomadic riders !
Eli was a rather kind and soft character not long ago, finally I prefer to write with her like a sensual witch whose reputation frightens the nearby kingdoms. It is a woman full of fire and passion, and fury. The sovereigns of Cérès are the alive gods of their country, and she always felt very implied in this role, which perfectly agreed to her character. Elishéva is a woman with a hard and ardent heart, a queen in absolute power which listens to little and decides only by herself, except of her brother Baraq :
Elishéva is infected by Bérényce's Disease, an incurable disease which has already taken her parents and eats away Cérès since its fall and the conquest of the black elfs, eight centuries earlier.

Après Lliane et Shoren c'est bien sûr au tour de Elishéva. Demain et après-demain lui seront également consacré, de façon plus détourné
Eli était un personnage plutôt aimable et doux il y a peu encore, finalement appuyer bien d'avantage son côté sorcière sensuelle dont la réputation effraye les royaumes voisins m'intéressait d'avantage. C'est une femme pleine de feu et de passion sinon de rage. Les souverains de Cérès sont les dieux vivants de leur pays, et elle s'est toujours sentie très impliquée dans ce rôle, qui lui a toujours parfaitement convenue. Elishéva est une femme au coeur dur et brûlant, une reine au pouvoir absolu qui écoute peu et décide seule, hormis son frère Baraq :
Elishéva est atteinte du mal de Bérényce, une maladie incurable qui a déjà emporté ses parents et ronge Cérès depuis sa chute et la conquête des elfes noirs, huit siècles plus tôt.

And so, Bérényce's Disease is a little bit like the plague : That begins with respiratory difficulties, then there are marks on the body, as if you saw your veins under the skin. That often begins with marks on the bust, like that infects lungs in the first one, but for some it's loins or heart at first. Then all the body is contaminated, and towards the end of the disease, bubons appears under armpits and on the groin. The patients are very sick, don't almost any more manage to inhale, have a high fever and are always thirsty. They often die by asphyxiation, or because the heart has no more enough strength to beat. It is the disease which can disappear and appear suddenly, evolve very slowly, or strike the patient in one week. Nobody knows why it starts. Elishéva has a "slow" shape of the disease: she had the first symptoms at 8 years, and since she has regular crises.
Sometimes there is nothing during months, and suddenly she is very going to be sick several weeks, without knowing if she is going to die. She's also sterile because of the disease, and his brother is also sick.
It's partially because of this disease that the kingdom of Cérès is close of the extinction, and as Elishéva thinks that she is the last descendant of the royal lineage, as she cannot have of child, she wants that the black elfs die at the same time as her country. This is why she decides to declare the war against Astalokë.

Oh I see, sounds like the Bubonic Plague indeed, but that one didn't disappear. That's a very interesting idea! As long as Eli doesn't start catapulting dead and diseased corpses into the Black Elf cities to kill them all off like people did in the middle ages lol First try a biological warfare lol She would be hell annoyed if the Black Elves proved to be immune to it XD But I like the idea really, of Eli being infected too along with her brother.

In fact it's not a contagious disease, you can live with a sick person without risk of being contaminated, and it infects only people of Cérès ! On the other hand Eli is going to use it to persuade the black elfs that it's the plague : Astalokë was victim of three big epidemics of plague, among whom one at the beginning of the reign of Anadès, they are thus very afraid of the contagion and the epidemics ! I like study tactical war, and biological warfare and terror warfare are two of my favorite subjects x)
