Equipment: The Urn of Chaos - An artifact from ancient times that was used to imprison a Horla, an ancient shadow demon with great power. Those that have control over this urn are able to command the creature inside to do their bidding. However this Horla, who Pamela calls Steve, is rather free-spirited and will exploit any vagueness in her commands like a Djinn if Pamela doesn't make the command very specific. Steve can be commanded to either summon forth an item that Pamela needs or lash out at her enemies.

Powers: Artificially Enhanced Physiology; Nano-Active Blood; Supernatural Cells; The Nanites in Bobby's body grant him abilities such as Powered Structure to give himself body armor; Cyber Mind that has Bobby's brain patched permanently into The Internet, allowing him access to vast amounts of information like a modern smartphone, though this does also make him vulnerable to getting hacked himself; and finally the Nanites can also generate green Hard-Light Holograms that Bobby can shape into constructs that resemble different Memes.

Powers: True Vampire Physiology; Daytime Walking; Disease Immunity; Bat Swarming; Wall Crawling; Enhanced Level Lightning Bruiser

Real Name: Roy Louis
Powers: Roy can create, shape, and manipulate force-fields made from Pure Light; a beneficial form of light that strengthens, enhances and causes anything/everything it comes across to flourish, representing the sustaining and preserving side of light, which in turn ignores most of the common limitations and weaknesses of its normal elemental variety. In essence, Roy is generating and controlling the pure positive powers of light. Though this light does also burn any demonic being that touches it due to it's holy nature.

Real Name: Marceline Louis
Alias: Marcy
Powers: Physical Demon Physiology; can create, shape and manipulate ice native to The Ninth Circle of Hell's Cocytus. A darker, detrimental form of ice that damages, destroys, and consumes anything/everything they come across, representing the hazardous destructive side of ice, which in turn ignores most of the limitations and weaknesses of the normal ice. In essence, this is about solely controlling the negative dark powers of ice. This ice cannot be melted or broken by any form of heat native to The Mortal Realm, which includes the heat from a nuclear bomb.

You guys remember that announcement of Marvel's New New Warriors from earlier this year? That trailer that got many more dislikes then likes due to how out of touch and dare I say cringey it was. I mean it was a comic that was mocked by EVERYONE, Left, Right and Center. Though at around October 27th when it was suppose to come out, Marvel pretty much cancelled the book due to all the flak they were getting for coming up with something like this, Especially when they have the author of the book, who looks like he would dive under a couch when you show him a picture of The Rock, talks about the book and the characters that would star it.

So since the book is effectively cancelled, I finally got around to designing my own take on The New New Warriors. One that I'm hoping you guys enjoy since I can say with full confidence that I did a better job at making more interesting characters then Daniel Kibblesmith did with characters like Snowflake and Safespace.

Also The Contenders will be a part of the same universe that Brave Guard and Packrat live in, so expect to see these guys pop up in other character's stories somewhere down the line.

Edit (12/3/2020): I'm actually surprised to see that over 2000 people actually checked these characters out! Though for this update, I'm actually going to give you guys each member of the Contender's backstories for you guys to work with!

Pandora: Pamela is an orphan girl who is the direct descendant of the actual Pandora, who after releasing all the evil from the Urn she was suppose to guard, dedicated her entire life and her family line to detain all the demons that escaped the urn, which includes The Horlas. However Pamela's family line had to use specially designed urns to capture these Horlas and then either use them against their own kind, or return them back into the original Urn.

Lawl-Meister: Bobby is a 4Channer and the grandson of a former Supervillain who retired after his age was getting the better of him. So in secret, the grandfather devised a new device for his long term plan. Creating a batch of Nanites that can connect every living creature on the planet to the internet permanently, which allows him to use his hacking skills to "re-program" all life on the planet to be under his control. However this hit a major snag as Bobby stumbled into Granddads lab and accidently broke the container that had the first batch of nanites which all merged with his body. So while he does do proper crimefighting, he does also like to play videogames and look at more "Adult" material in his head on his off time without anyone knowing about it.

Bloodscorn: Jeremy's parents are vampire hunters who had quite the lucrative hunting business that allowed then to buy a fancy home, but after one job killing a Vampire Lord, the lord used his last breath to curse the hunters and their then unborn son. As such Jeremy ended up born a vampire instead of being simply turned so he's immune to sunlight. His parents loved him too much to actually kill the baby, so they tried to raise him the best they can. So instead of actual human blood to feed Jeremy, they used a blood-based substitute instead. And this substitute actually changed Jeremy's demeanor as instead of being a bloodhungry monster as he grew up, Jeremy becomes like Jimmy from Ed, Edd n Eddy instead of David from The Lost Boys. While still being physically stronger and faster then the average human, Jeremy is actually squeamish at the sight of actual blood and is pretty passive and feminine with his attitude and hobbies such as knitting and gardening. But whenever Jeremy goes out in public, he puts on this persona of a Badass Goth Vampire so that people don't laugh at him for the kind of person he really is.

Threshold & Cocytus: The twins who ended up exposed to a mysterious mineral from beyond their universe that granted them powers, Threshold gaining abilities of a more Divine Nature and Cocytus gaining more demonic powers. And because of Threshold's Pure Light barrier actually covering his skin without him able to control it, demonic beings, including his sister, cannot touch him without burning themselves. And unlike Snowflake and Safespace, they aren't in a romantic relationship and treat each other like normal siblings, ribbing each other and all. Though Cocytus does end up getting attracted to Bloodscorn, being the only one in the team who knows about his true nature.
