I have to be honest, I'm really super proud of this. Like I keep looking at it and I'm like wow I really made this. I had to create a piece of artwork to go along with a book that I had to read for class and this is what I came up with. The full picture also has an artist's statement written on it (was required for the class), but I just wanted to post the picture part of it for now.Related content

Amanda this is seriously beautiful. I am so proud of you! I could not do this to save my life. I would love to see more still life pictures from you such as this. Practicing things like this really helps with proportions and detail work that can translate over into your manga-esque pictures.

my art teachers always told us to draw from real life because if you draw from someone else, you are copying their mistakes as well. I like drawing inspiration from both ;3 but it never hurts to practice different forms.
