With Knuckles and the CHAOTIX…………

“Three……… two……… one……… LET’S GET ‘EM!” said Knuckles before he, Vector, Espio and Charmy run and flew out of their hiding places toward the Babylon Rogues (who’s surprised to see them).

“SCATTER!” said Jet as he and Wave swiftly grab and get on their Extreme Gear boards and flew up while Storm look worry and holding the two relics closely. “Split up the loot! Toss us the relics and hold ‘em off!” added Jet hurriedly to Storm.

“There’s no way they can catch us all!” said Wave.

“Alright! Catch!” said Storm as he swiftly toss the two relics up toward Jet and Wave before he turn back to grab hold of Knuckles’s incoming fists, preventing Knuckles from punching him and halting him in his tracks while Vector jump into the ocean and swim after Wave and Charmy flew toward and managed to catch and hold one of the relics in his arms.

“Gotcha! I got it! I got it!” said Charmy with a smile on his face as he flew away with the relic in his arms.

“Hey! I won’t let you steal from me, brat!” said Jet as he chase after Charmy.

“……… Steal? But that’s what bad guys do……… I’m sorry.” said Charmy as he realised that what he’s doing is wrong before he stop, turn around and apologize and give the relic to Jet (who’s confuse at Charmy giving him back the relic).

“Charmy!” said Espio in surprise at Charmy returning the relic back to Jet before he jump up, grab and latch onto the underside of Jet’s Extreme Gear board.

“No hitchhikers on my board!” said Jet as he flew around, trying to get rid of Espio.

“Can you handle……… Heavy turbulences?” said Espio calmly to Jet before he make Jet start spinning around rapidly before they both fell into the ocean together.

“Oh no, Espio!” said Charmy, worried for Espio.

“Jet……… Wha………” said Wave, worried for Jet as well before she felt something grab hold of her board, turn to look behind her and saw Vector got his jaw close on her Extreme Gear board.

“Get your FILTHY mouth off my Extreme Gear!” snap Wave angrily at Vector (who refused to let go of her Extreme Gear).

“In the air! On the ground! Don’t matter! You can’t beat me!” said Storm as he kept swinging his fists at Knuckles (who kept dodging his fists) until he managed to give Knuckles and uppercut punch.

“Then how about in the water?” said Knuckles before he punch and destroy the wooden board underneath Storm, which make him fall into the ocean before he used his Extreme Gear to stay afloat. “Let’s wrap it up, Chaotix!” said Knuckles as he glance at Vector, Espio and Charmy.

“How’s the balance of this thing? Wanna stress test it?” said Vector warningly to Wave.

“Okay, okay! I’ll land!” said Wave frantically at Vector before she brought herself and Vector down on the dock while Storm climb out of the sea and both Jet and Espio (who’s also using Jet’s Extreme Gear to stay afloat after Jet reluctantly gave the relic to Charmy) as they swim toward the dock.

“He left bite marks on my gear!” snap Wave as she glared at Vector for his bite marks on her gear.

“Sorry, boss.” said Storm sadly to Jet as he grab and pull him and his Extreme Gear from the ocean.

“Don’t talk to me right now.” grumbled Jet.

“Then how ‘bout you talk to ME? Who hired you Babylon Rogues to steal those relics from Angel Island?” asked Vector as he glance at Jet while crossing his arms over his chest.

“Who says anyone hired us, huh? Maybe we did it for ourselves.” replied Jet sarcastically at Vector as he grab and squeeze the sea water out of the wet feathers on top of his head.

“Not gonna cooperate, huh? Maybe we’ll just take this as evidence………” said Vector as he, Espio and Charmy start to take away his Extreme Gear.

“OKAY! OKAY! OKAY! I’LL TALK! The guy never used a name. He calls us. WE GET PAID. END OF STORY.” Said Jet as he take back his Extreme Gear from the Chaotix.

“Whatever, we’re done here.” said Knuckles as he took the relics from Vector.

“You sure?” said Vector unsurely at Knuckles.

“I’ve got the relics back, THAT’S WHAT’S IMPORTANT. I’m good with that.” said Knuckles as he glance and nod his head at Vector.

“Yeah-Yeah-Yeah! You just don’t want a round two! You KNOW I’d win!” said Storm mockingly to Knuckles as he push both Jet and Wave aside.

“I will take you down anytime, anywhere.” Said Knuckles as he glared at Storm while handing the relics to Vector again.

“Oh yeah? How about here and now?” said Storm, egging Knuckles on.

“BRING IT.” said Knuckles as he got into a fighter stance.

“No, Storm.” said Jet.

“I’ve gears to repair and circuits to dry.” said Wave.

“Aww……… B-B-B-But………” said Storm as he glance left and right at both Jet and Wave in disbelief.

“Huh, well………” said Knuckles in slight confusion at the Babylon Rogues.

“So……… our motto is “We never turn down work that pays”. You ARE gonna pay us, right?” said Vector.

“Oh yeah. Well, a lot of fruits are in season and I can forage Mushroom hill on my island. How’s that sound?” said Knuckles.

“Free groceries are savings in the long run.” said Espio calmly to Vector.

“I guess so……… Wait! FOOD! DINNER! WHAT TIME IS IT!?” said Vector with a nervous look on his face as he remember about Vanilla’s dinner and Vector swiftly gave the two relics back to Knuckles before he, Espio and Charmy left the dock and Knuckles decide to head back to his island with his relics.

“Who you calling now, boss?” asked Storm curiously to Jet, who’s wrapped in a blanket while holding and using his phone to call someone.

“Our contact, duh.” replied Jet.

“But……… You told the Chaotix………” said Storm.

“I LIED.” said Jet.

“Ohhh, I see! You’re so smart!” said Storm with a nod of his head.

“Yeah, sure, thanks. Now get outta here while I make the call.” said Jet as he call for their client and tell him or her about how he and his team succeed and failed in getting the two relics only for their client to tell Jet that he and his team will no longer going after the relic because the client's true goal is accomplished before Jet (who's pissed off at being used) and their client hung up and Jet decide to call Lux to cheer himself up while the client that hung up after talking to Jet is Clutch himself, who’s now inside Jewel’s office and talking with Jewel about going into a partnership and merging his Clean Sweep company with the Restoration and she agree to it.
