I'm so glad I finally finished this one. It took me forever and I kept changing and editing stuff until I kind of liked it. I might still find parts I need to edit, but at least it looks like a finished art piece now.

If you didn't notice, this is a redraw/paint of a very old painting I did. The old version is one of my most popular pieces and that really bugs me because the older version is so horrible (in my eyes).
Looking back, I really didn't understand how to use values properly, most of the picture is in a midtone range with no real highlights or dark shadows, so I wanted to improve on that. Also I hope the newer one translates my idea much better.
And, oh dear, did my style change... it's really weird to see how many differences their are now.

This newer version was done entirely in Photoshop and I think it helped me get comfotrtable with the software. I still prefer SAI, but creating textures and a more painterly style seems much easier with the PS brushes whereas blending doesn't work as well.

I would appreciate feedback and critique very much!! (but please be constructive, if possible)
