In which artist for some reason decides that it's perfectly good idea to put both giant ball pits and a hoard of skeletons to the same page-set.
Only two pages this time. Would have loved to add more panels to fight scene between Necrodeon and Storm, but I decided to have pity on my arm and keep it short.
The deadline for the final-round of AatR is apparently September 22th. I'll have to pick up my phase, but I'll try my best to get the comic done before that. I'd hate to be the last one to finish.

It's ok. Storm is one of those characters who's design tends to evolve a little bit every time I draw him. His body shape is long and beanbag shaped with extremely short legs. It tends to make him look more chubby than he actually is. I have always imagined him to be quite nimble and energetic with a deep curiosity towards everything and everyone around him.
I'm pretty sure I made tons of little errors while drawing your team too. The outfits are quite complex. Especially Necrodeon's head was really difficult to draw. There's a reason why I made the head almost invisible in nearly all panels. XD

Nää on hienoja nämä sun sarjikset. Olet hyvä esimerkki siitä, miten piirtäjänä voi kehittyä valtavasti vain harjoittelemalla ahkerasti.

AAAAH! Kiitos! Enää n. 7 sivusettiä ja sitten tarina on pulkassa. Paljon istumalihaksia tässä on kyllä tarvittu. Yhden ruudun piirtämiseen saattaa helposti vierähtää yli tunti. Siinä tunnissa saa kyllä tosin aina hieman parempaa jälkeä aikaiseksi kun kehittyy vähitellen.
Osa kiitoksista kuuluu sinulle. Inspiroit minua teini-ikäisenä kovasti piirtämään (pidin niistä kuvista silloin aivan mahdottomasti) + ohjasit minut deviantARTin suuntaan.

Heh, kiitus. x3 Piirrät kyllä nopeammin kuin minä, kun itseltä menee tunti yhden RUUDUN piirtämiseen ja en tee läheskään noin yksityiskohtaista.
Valmistuin koulusta huhtikuussa ja muutin Tampereelle duuniin. Olen täällä asunut tuttavien puutarhavajassa alivuokralla. x3 Pitäisi nyt talveksi korjata tästä luunsa, kun ei kuulemma ole talviasuttava. Koetan etsiä jotain vastaavaa tosi halpaa mestaa.

Hih! Arvioin käyttämäni ajat yleensä rutkasti alakanttiin. 1h menee ehkä jonkun simppelin ruudun piirtämiseen, jossa on yksi hahmo eikä hirveästi taustajuttuja. Tällä sivulla olevien ruutujen piirtämiseen meni rutkasti enemmän. XD
Onneksi olkoon valmistumisen johdosta!
Itse vielä kituutan koulunpenkillä (seitsemäs vuosi alkaa ja pitäisi taikoa diplomityö esiin jostain hatusta). Tällä hetkellä kesätöissä web-koodarina ja yritän jotenkin löytää aikaa piirtää sarjis loppuun.

Olen tehnyt töitä tokan opiskeluvuoden jälkeen opintojen ohessa. Työssäkäyminen hidastaa opintoja aika paljon kun haluan tehdä kurssit kunnolla. ^^’

Yep. Took many hours of non-stop drawing and podcasts to get all those balls and skeletons done. XD
I try to remember to relax my hand and move shoulders once in a while. It's not easy though. I work as a programmer and draw the comic digitally. That's a LOT of hours spent in front of a screen. -.-'

Ugh, spending too long in front of a screen can be killer. On your eyes/back/shoulders/posture/all of it. That's one of the reasons I do my OCTs 90% traditional. But since you are a programmer, hopefully you have a better and more ergonomically friendly computer setup than I do!

I started the comic as traditional, but moved mainly to digital in round 1. I have difficulties with the composition on traditional format, so digital format works better for me in comics. I'm planning to practice more traditional comics after the AatR though.
My desktop setup is pretty ergonomic at work, but not so economic at home. I don't have extra keyboard or screen so my laptop is behind my large drawing tablet and I have to reach a little bit to use the hot keys (it's a horrible setup, I know). Also I should probably tighten some screws from my chair before it falls apart. XD
You have studied art, so hopefully you have more ergonomic setup for doing art.

Composition can be annoying when doing traditional, especially if you just need to move something a little bit to make it better...redraws are such a pain.

Redraws are nasty. I usually have trouble keeping the portions and perspective right. Those usually would require a lot redraws to fix. ^^'

Storm looks so adorable when he's trying to see if the guy needs help. (Well come on, Storm is pretty much always adorable.) I love how you drew his scared face when the hand snaps at him. And man that is a lot of balls. XD; I don't blame you for taking a break!
