My main inspiration for this one was “Born to quit” – The Used; “I don’t love you” – My Chemical Romance; “Goodbye” – Secondhand Serenade; “Hate” – Plain White T’s; “Love of my life” – Queen.

This couple is complex yet obvious if you catch the details of it:
(1) It portrays a girl letting go of her love because he hurt her with his ways, and he didn’t do anything about it, reason why the title is given. That’s why she’s letting go of his hand and gripping tight a heart.
Yet, there’s still this -really- tiny hope of everything being fixed, that's brought up with the phrase in the bottom of their hands “Take my hand, tell me I was wrong”. Will he?

(2) There’s some sort of a “wall” between them, which is what is tearing them apart, the brick wall she built and he would have to get through, so inside of it there are phrases that illustrate it (mainly taken from Senses Fail song “Coward”).

(3) *This drawing is actually divided in 3: the half belonging to the girl are her thoughts and the other side are phrases for the boy, and the bottom is made out of phrases that refer to the whole situation.

I really suggest downloading this one, cuz it's really hard to read all the phrases (and damn this one has tons) unless your eyes have a zoom-in option, mine sadly don't

The drawing was made with blue pen, green and blue markers, and some shades were done with a bit of pencil. Later, I adjusted hue-saturation and color curves to bring out the green (random fact: no other couple has green in it!).

I am really proud of this one, since it took a lot of work to fill it all up.
