Yes, Jack definitely had a tragic life. I don't understand him, though. He had so many chances to be happy and while all he thought of was Lacie, he found so many people who loved and trusted him. But he just betrayed them all and trampled on their feelings because all he cared about was Lacie. If he didn't have such a 'tunnel vision', he could have been happy.

True,but that's problem.Lacie was first who was nice to him and she became like his personal heroine in his eyes,only persone in the world,finaly some resone to live since he already gave up on life.For him loseing Lacie wasn't just losing the love of his life it was losing the one thing he lived for,as I said in my previuse comment he gave up everything just to find her and just so in end she can die.

I don't get why he got so obsessed with Lacie in the first place. He spent like a day with her and then he decided he'd destroy the world for her just because she was the one who noticed him and was nice to him first... ? :\ Jack dear, you're nuts, lol~
Still, it's pretty impressive that he was able to go through and do all that shit just for Lacie.

I could definitely see that as Lacie Baskerville's theme! Not that the pocket watch music isn't already her theme, but this arrangement just seems to fit her somewhat.
I love Jack's facial expression here! But he always has the best ones, especially in this chapter! XD
