That's unbelievable, but I'm finally done with this commission!
It came out a bit different from the original idea, but hopefully not worse than that. Although I had to face some unexprected problems.

Unfortunately, my scanner didn't recognize some yellow reflexes on the wall, but oh well, they aren't that recognizable anyway, in fact.
I just hope you like it, Mad! I'll send it to you tomorrow, together with some other pieces.

Rather mad than sad, I would say. He does look as his name implies. And I guess that since this is acrylics, there can be complications with the scanning process. But it is not too noticable, and does make the blue of Mad's clothing show through a bit more.

I'm a happy person having a very good scanner, in fact, but it still doesn't recognize some colors. And correcting them digitally doesn't always help

I understand, even if I try to correct in Gimp it makes ecerything much darker...

I don't mind^^ My previous job in the office was exactly to scan pictures and logos and correct the colors in gimp then, to make the scanned pictures look 100% same as original. It was for that data base. So I kind of know some nuances and can share them)

Ooh! That's cool! I always wondered how people are able to make scanned drawings exactly the same as original XD

Pretty a lot depends on the scanner, but in the office we had so terrible, ancient scanners that they screwed almost everything. The one I have now is truly nice, the pictures come out very close to original, but there are some shades that it doesn't recognize still. However, I like how my pictures come out. The only problem that I really hate is that on my phone everything looks a lot darker than on my laptop, so each time I have to consider this.

Oooh dude! The background turned out great despite everything!
I got an idea of how it would look when you told me, but it looks even better than I imagined. The be blue over the grey, and that slight yellow tone work really well with the whole piece and give it a night-like atmosphere with some streetlight nearby.
I'm really sorry the first try didn't work, but the final result is just
Thank you!

I'll be sitting at home and going crazy knowing this and the other pieces will soon be my way, there's few things I enjoy more than having traditional art other people have done for me within my reach

I'm so happy it was worth all the spent time! I would be even more happy though if I have managed to finish it earlier (when did you commission me? Sping? Oh ffff...). But anyway, it was done quite in time, as from tomorrow I'll be preparing for the trip and won't have enough time for art.
Once the painting dries up completely, I'll put it in the envelope and go to the post office. So expect a note from me again, I'll send you the check and the code for tracking the package :3

Waiting was well worth it, believe me :'D
I'm glad you managed to finish it before your trip too, easier to enjoy it if you don't have something nagging at you in the back of your head.

I'll be waiting
