Aaw, I love this couple so much! They're so sweet! I can barely believe I haven't drawn them before, Final Fantasy IX is too amazing a game to miss out on drawing. XD

I was feeling a little frustrated with some current projects which weren't going as planned, so I grabbed a pencil and drew these two.
The lineart is pencil, and the colouring is all done with Deepsies' spiffy Tria marker pens, with a little watercolour wash over the background.
The border and a couple of touch-ups were done in Photoshop, so this is in Mixed Media.
So yes, this was drawn traditionally.

It was really nice to do something traditional after all the digital stuff, I might do it again soon. ^^
Zidane's trousers look a little iffy though. XD

My original idea for this was including a background and the other six party members but in the end I didn't think it would work with this method, so I kept it simple. I may do another version sometime though.
