He is an incredibly skilled and brilliant art thief/forger, with a healthy dose of self-preservation and scruples which are very present but also very eccentric. He is quixotic, strutting, aristocratic, a blend of Errol Flynn and Alfred Hitchcock's John Robie.

Did I mention his girlfriend is a self-righteous five foot ten inch blond bombshell with the brains of Jane Goodall, a kind of femme Indiana Jones art historian?

Oh- I love Vicky Bliss! Did you notice, in Silhouette in Scarlet; when John was incognito (so he thought) that Vicky's description of him mirrored that of the adult Ramses in the Peabody books? I noticed it before the relationship was made explicit in The Laughter of Dead Kings- and I was just as tickled as Vicky (I also love MPM's self references in TLDK, and in Naked Once More)

I love the detailed shading and the pose that you used it really makes him look very Lupin like. his eye's and the detail in his clothes are awesome. I love the raised eyebrow too hehe and the simple background shading makes it nice, not to cluttered
