Description A giftart for , her fancharacter Wandering Star (the girl), an American wolf/werewolf, and her lover and by all measures husband, the British ex-professional criminal assassin and heavy game hunter Colonel Sebastian Moran (this version (c) ME but the original (c) Sir Arthur Conan Doyle), as we both believed the two would appear in the Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli series SherlockHound/Meitantei Holmes. I lost this damned thing like a month ago, found it and very hastily colored it, so I could rip it to shreds personally, but poor Christy has waited weeks for it, so here they are initiating their first expression of tenderness towards each other ^^ . Tocome soon is a pic of him with their adopted child Rowena, an orphaned wolf whom they will teachboth of their customs and cultures in an attempt to bridge a gap between their worlds. Yes, I know, the background needs attention and my crosshatchiness is a bit tuned down and needs more work, but hey, like I said, she's been waiting

It's from an old rp with someone I am sadly no longer even on speaking terms with. But she has the original and hopefully has good memories of me.

The left one is very believable. The right one, well, it feels like it has no grounding. I feel like it it needs more depth of color like the one of the right has....^^::

Hayao Miyazaki's old 80's cartoons inspired this That means lots of flat bright colors, hehe. Check out the show Meitantei Holmes.

Wow I love this piece on so many levels! It's amazing to see Moran actually SMILING... wow... for some reason it reminds me of when she came back after leaving him. That dialogue between them when she wasn't really sure if he would have her back. Her eyes are closed so she can't see his smile, and that makes it all the more powerful. I keep forgetting the gloves on him though.

Anyhoo... this is a definate fav!

Yah I was thinking of that scene actually when I colored it today. I loved that scene SO much lol. Their mixed communication is realistic and powerful to me too, glad you picked up on it!!

Ok, why the hell would you actually finish it if you were going to rip it up?

I love the expression on Wandering Star, though she looks so sad! It seems almost bittersweet... oh, and she's a very pretty woman! Nice job! Only critique on her is her arm- the way you did it, I can't tell if the pink is felsh or part of her dress... I'm obviously going to assume it's her dress, but it just seems hard to tell somehow.

However, I really don't like the expression- if you can even call it that, no offense- on Moran; it's too expressionless and cold and weird, IMO. I also don't like the long, blood-like nails on him, I'm afraid... to creepy and ugly for me.

I don't mean to insult your work, just being honest. If I seem cold, it's just because I'm in a real lousy mood right now.

*sigh* I am so not familiar with this damn series.

Hi, hey yeah well I think at the moment it was when the two of them had a fight.

For more on WS and pics check out mah gallery. Those aren't nails on Moran's hands either, their his fingers, he's got on some bohemian/anime fingerless gloves. As for the costume, it's based on a design I did for this character, which can once again be seen in the gallery.
