Biscuit for teh win. Oh, my freaking God, I am tired. -_-; Didn't get it finished by 9 pm. That were me deadline. It's not exactly a ... uh... set in stone deadline. It was just a personal one so that I could get it to the copy place before close. I did not. So sad. Frick.
Anyway, Conrad and Ana from "the Pictorial Adventures of J.P. Conrad". I may die now. Yup.
Er... and, no, Conrad isn't huge. Ana is 14. She doesn't quite look it here.

The copy that I worked from was larger and I had another copy that was smaller that I used for the color template.

After (finally) taking a peek at the other pictures of this J.P. Conrad thing you're doing, I've got to say that he's an absolutely delightful character. He looks like such a sly, sneaky, but dignified character. Meow!
The Myspace page you linked us to didn't work for me. The site must have tremendous traffic, because after 30 minutes not even the background had come up. Gee, thanks dial-up... Would you mind telling me a bit about it yourself, since I can't access the page for it? It looks like a really interesting idea... cat people... wunnerful.
As for the picture, I really adore it. The layout's nice. it's just as impressive as the one you based it on (this un ), but even more adorable. I just love how Conrad compensates for his shortness by standing on the urn... silly kitty.

I was hoping you would get here to comment on this. I'm glad you like it. ^^ And you've already got his character, pretty much. ^_^ That makes me happy.
The comic is going to be based in the early 1900s in a world similar to our Earth (basically an alternate Earth). It's set in Europe and will be kind of steam-punk. At any rate, their different technology has allowed them to develop a device that, when used on animals, allows them to be understood. In this world, they used it on cats and dogs. The story takes place long after the device is developed and cats and dogs have evolved to be on a level with humans. (This may not be explained in the story for a really long time) Conrad is a sort of detective/adventurer who is in the business of helping others. He's also very sure of himself (read "conceited"). He works with a dog named Baxter who's kind of a rough and tumble guy. The girl in the pic is a girl named Ana that Conrad will be rescuing in his first adventure.

I've drawn a few pictures of him, but I haven't quite got him right yet. The story is Danial's, though. I'll probably upload a few pics of Baxter eventually. I'll have to draw him quite a bit soon.
