The lettering feels a little cramped in those balloons, especially compared to earlier in the story. I know I keep mentioning lettering... it's just one of those things that can be really distracting if it isn't consistent.
Love the cliffhanger. I'm sure it would have helped you get some votes, just to see what happens.
Overall, this was a very strong story with fun characters, but I've told you that before. Sorry if my comments seem nit-picky, but I know that a real critique is much more helpful than another "Looks cool!" (Not that those aren't fun to hear, too!) I know you put a ton of work into this, and I really hope we see more of it sooner than later.
So, anyway... looks cool!

I agree. I don't remember what I lettered it in, but I think I used Illustrator this time. I never get good results in Illustrator. Of course, Manga studio isn't the best, either. I seriously think about going back to just doing hand lettering if I ever work on Conrad again. I think I really took issue with just how thick the balloons were.

Well, kinda supposed to end on a cliffhanger so it gets voted on. You have to feel that there's something there to continue. Of course, now that it's not in the contest, that's kind of a moot point.
