I take one head shape piece in skin color, another in hair color, then sew them together with the stuffed body in at the bottom. I leave a 1inch or so gap at the top to turn it right side out then stuff and close it. Then I just work at trying to get a hair piece(s) that reach up to the line between the two head pieces so there's no skin colored gaps in the hair.

Oh, that actually sounds pretty easy. Like I said, I'm working on making plushies as well but the problem is that I'm not sure what kind of pattern I should do for my plushes :/ I've been looking around alot though to get some ideas.

For my people plush they're just flat with round heads and little gingerbread man type bodies.

Hmmm, I like it. It's very simple but is still adorable I've seen that a lot of people seem to like that form.
