The scarlet macaw (Ara macao) is a large red, yellow, and blue South American parrot , a member of a large group of Neotropical parrots called macaws . It is native to humid evergreen forests of tropical South America. Range extends from south-eastern Mexico to the Peruvian Amazon , Colombia , Bolivia , Venezuela and Brazil in lowlands up to 500 m (1,640 ft) (at least formerly) up to 1,000 m (3,281 ft). It has suffered from local extinction through habitat destruction and capture for the parrot trade , but locally it remains fairly common.From Wikipedia

Well at first i did not even realise this was a drawing, it looks like a photo. It is gorgeous. The only thing that maybe is not right , is his leg. I think maybe it is way close to the head and looks kinda out of place and weird - but that is only if i am being picky. If the animal is indeed like that then ,there is really nothing wrong with this drawing. Actually i am curious how you managed to pull off such detail. Anyway It's really amazing, keep up the good work my friend and always enjoy your work!

The wrinkles and the tiny feathers on the macaw's face are amazing - there is so much character in its face! This is absolutely beautiful, and I love all of that glorious color.
