Medium: watercolor (the cheap one!), pen & inkDate finished: March 22, 2003
Sai from Hikaru No go! My first Sai drawing. It took me a day to finish it. This is a reproduction of the original art of the color page from Jump magazine. I sort of created the background but it looks kinda sloppy. This old drawing teach me a lot on shading, especially on face. If you look at my recent drawings, you can see my skills improved a lot in just a year!

And for some reason, I am particularly attracted to his fan. Maybe it's the fact that it actually looks like it has bends and folds & stuff... @_@ well, whatever.
