great work, keep it going, why don't you do some parts of the great palace like magnaura palace or daphne(the throne room),because we have descriptions both for interior and exterior, it think it would be splendid and beautifulΒ

It is impressive how you got the dynamics of Polo (movement of the horses and riders) done.
Very nice.
And these patterns of the clothing - wonderful.

They already played it for very long time-from its adoption via Sassanid Persia(as many, many other things)during 4th century.Although this game was probably never played at the western side of the Empire in the east it become so popular among nobility that basically every bigger city had its own Polo field. Some Emperors really loved this game-two of them even died while playing it

Really? Which ones died while playing Polo? Well it's a pretty dangerous sport, it must've been really popular among the Byzantine nobles that they put their lives on the line playing it.
I thought they first Europeans playing Polo were the Britons, during the colonisation times.

Alexander II(who ruled only shortly and extremely badly in 912-13)died of exhaustion.Second was John I of Trebizond who fell from his horse while playing it and was trampled to death.First modern Europeians to play Polo were British soldiers serving in India during 19th century.

Romans adopted it directly from Sassanid Persians during 4th century but it was already very old game at that point invented long before in Persian lands when there was not even any Roman republic yet.
