Originally began as a tattoo, the illustration/concept piece evolved into something I might consider as a new banner. It's about change--the skull is a metaphorical symbol for the end/death of things and the rose symbolizes the sometimes painful (thorns) yet beautiful (petals) rebirth of new things/life from the old and ended.
