Description
"Overtone Liberation" was a ton of fun to do. It's about three years old now--one of my older works. It is, at its core, a piece about the triumph of light over darkness. The figure (in some ways symbolizing my own spirit) holds a caduceus (mystical symbol of healing/kundalini energy--look it up; you've probably seen it on hospital buildings) that channels a power of divine light through the heart of the caster and blasting away (liberating) the tendrils of darkness that represent the negative aspects of ourselves and the universe.
