I guess fame is just something that comes to you. I don't try to actively seek it. If it comes, it comes, really. I try to get myself more known now in the commercial sense though.

For the background, I took a wallpaper texture and tiled it on the background. Then I reduced the opacity to 41%, and painted using watercolor the shadows with a layer under the texture layer. I then overlaid the shadows with another papery texture (you can kind of see it in the layers box on the left hand side.
Then I made the brown borders with the pen tool, then I made the borders using a select tool on a separate layer before merging the entire background.
