I didn't spend a lot of time on this--just a quick whip up when I realized it was May 1st. While May Day, it's also the Day of Love in the Czech Republic, in tribute to a Czech poet.

So I drew my Czechia OC and ~xNeyu 's Slovakia OC for the occasion. It is tradition to place flowers on a memorial of Karel Hynek Mácha, the poet. Then couples usually go for walks and kiss under the cherry blossoms--I read that it's a tradition to "keep the girl beautiful".

Either way, I find it a very sweet and sentimental holiday--not commercialized like St. Valentine's Day is.

So here you get crappy art, woo. o/ You can tell I got really lazy on the coloring.
