They're actually among the survivors of the Xorda attacks on Earth. According to my theory:
The blond chick is a friend of mine, Kaitlyn Lammi (nee Connors), the kid is her future son (according to my two manga series, Brock: 25 Years Later and Brock: 30 Years Later), Jynnr. The bearded man is my former principal, Thomas Dinsdale.
