This is a very well composed piece, and I really don't see any problems with it on that account. Some people have said that there is too much burgundy, but I have to say I like it, it adds a feeling of richness to the piece as a whole, making me think that this is some wealthy man's wife, about to do something perhaps she oughtn't to do.

My main nitpick with this piece is the facial expression. I think it's very well done, and certainly there is nothing wrong with it technically speaking, but it doesn't seem to fit right with the rest of the image. Like I said, the lushness of the surroundings and the rich hues set the stage for a well-to-do affair, but the facial expression seems more contemplative than flirtatious. This could be perfectly natural for a more shy character, but her apparent wealthiness and particularly, to me, those heels (!) suggest she is not the bashful sort, and so her facial expression seems kind of incongruous with what I feel the rest of her character is.

Like I said, this is not only nitpicky but completely subjective, so you can take it or leave it as you wish. This piece as a whole is technically sound and I cannot see any real flaws in it. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Hermie thank you so much for this! I am sorry it has taken me so long to reply.

What I was thinking was she was a spoiled rich girl, who found herself alone with someone she wanted. But she was trying not to look to eager. Perhaps I didn't pull it off.

I really do appreicate all your comments!!

Thank you!!

I think that you are on your way to that sort of feel with other aspects of this piece. Like I said, I think it's the facial expression that makes things seem off. For the type of emotion you are describing, I would say keep most of the facial expression the same, but add on liitle something that would indicate that she is trying to hold herself back. Like, a subtle wink, or a repressed smirk or smile, something that would express her intention but make it look like she is covering it up.

I like your character a lot, actually I love your character Her pose gives her a touch of naughtiness, yet still quite elegant.

I never consider it fully my place to debate the comments left by others, but I am trying to understand "the overuse of burgundy", I don't have any issues there, perhaps just a little more light would qualm that sense.

Overall I think its a very nice render, good job!

Everyone has their own prefrence.. when I was putting this together I didn't really think that the use of the burgundy might be to much.

I'm glad you like the image

True that and really I think you should always go with your own flow.

I can think of several things, but it looks like she is a fan of burgundy. I have to agree with capn, a bit much on that color, but I love everything else

Very nice--perhaps just a bit too much burgundy. Her dress sort of gets lost with the background.
IMHO.
