Personality: Arque was brought to The Waypoint as a stud for their bloodline, having direct ties to the King's breeding program for the war; but he comes with his own set of challenges. He is retired due to a large scar on his left flank, a wound which instantly killed his knight and took him out of service permanently. Arquebus is largely silent on the matter unless his ear and tail rings are mentioned, to which the stallion will proudly proclaim that each was a prize earned in mounted combat and consequently forged from the loser's weapon.

While what remains of the wound is not severely debilitating, what is is the crippling anxiety Arque now faces around most loud noises, and his lack of trust for other humans. He does all right around other horses, but it's not likely after the loss he faced that Arque will be ridden, or will bond with another rider, again. He does well in disciplines like pulling which do not require a rider and keep his mind busy.

Arque has no problem participating in the creation children, but has very little patience for foals and has a tendency to be an aloof and distant sire.
