This is the first picture I really worked hard on for the plot. Most of my time actually went into his hair, and the background. But the background was deleted.

This is Hoban, the navigator aboard the Cyodrake's Gaze, a flying merchant ship from the mysterious land called Shenkuu. This cute little guy's a bit of a spitfire, when he's mad he's mad. He's more bark than bite though, he's not the kind of person to get into a physical fight. (I mean, if you were him, would you? He's the shortest, scrawniest crewmember!)

Several people, even myself, strongly believed that Hoban would be the shopkeeper for Shenkuu's Petpet shop, Fanciful Fauna, seeing as every other crewmember had their own shop or business. Sadly, this did not happen, we got a random generic Koi instead. We may never see Hoban again... *sniffle*...

By the way, if you're wondering where his scarf his, it was stolen; that was part of the plot. But he makes up the excuse that he was feeling too hot and left it in his room, so that people wouldn't get too suspicious of him. Suspicious of what? Uh... of... stealing the last cookie. Yeah.
